💔 Gunther is a sweet, affectionate 2-year-old who proved in foster that he’s a friendly, snuggly companion. He’s still hoping for a home of his own. 🥺❤️
Gunther can take a little time to settle in, but once he’s comfortable, expect plenty of cuddles and kisses, plus the occasional burst of goofy zoomies! He loves walks and happily went on two-mile walks twice a day with his foster. He enjoys chew toys, will chase a ball a few times, and is very treat motivated. He’s potty trained and crate trained, and a good nap is one of his favorite things. Gunther has lived successfully with indoor cats and does well with dogs one-on-one, though group settings may be a little much for him, so he may be happiest as the only dog or with a carefully matched buddy. He is heartworm positive, and the shelter is happy to discuss his treatment plan with you. There’s no adoption fee! Please give Gunther the quiet, loving home he deserves. 🐾
